Off Topic Thoughts on House of the Dragon?

Should hopefully be pretty good. It being based on a completed story should hopefully mean they cant fuck up it too much.

I’m gonna watch it with cautious optimism. It can’t be any worse than the last season of GoT was, that’s about as bad as a show can get.

I think it will be a lot like season 1. The story should be more connected without the Wall and Essos stuff.

ill probably watch the big epic battle scenes on youtube if i come across them. not interested in anything else from GOT after the last season, the GOT franchise is permanently sullied. i have plenty of other shows and movies to watch that i can get invested in

The last season really killed a lot of my "passion" for game of thrones. I'll watch it eventually, but I feel like any investment that the series/books had built in me was really spent. Hopefully it proves me wrong though, but I think its very hard to come back from such a poor ending.

I think it'll be average/good but people will be worried because of how badly GoT ended
