You've already figured it out then. It's really tedious, because like you said sometimes you'll see a video where the face is perfect, all the angles and expressions, everything you want and BAM: 720p max.

Idk how you download youtube vids but I highly recommend Youtube-DL, and if you're not comfortable with command line, jdownloader. This way you can pick specifically the format you're looking for.

But yeah...lots of interviews...

Edit: Oh yeah, and also ripping frames from a 4k copy of a movie with the person in it, if it's usable and the person's face doesn't look completely different to the other face pics you'll add them too.

Free Download Manager also allows you to download youtube vids in the format and resolution you want (from what is available... can't make a 480p video 4k obviously).

It's also a fantastic all-around download manager as well.


As always, read some reviews from reputable sites before just installing some random stuff a person on a deepfake website recommends to you.

Pornhub usually, it's usually easier to find higher quality video than other sites. Pornhub Premium is free until tomorrow (it was free for a month) but you can download most clips using JDownloader, and pick the highest quality video file.

For VR, SexLikeReal. They do a lot of their own mastering, and they were around back when pornhub just had shitty 1080p crap.

For porn clips, you need to download high quality stuff with Torrent via sites such as : Pornbay (just register) or Emporium (not that easy to get in, but worth it). Alternate solution would be such forums as PlanetSuzy, where there is a lot of DDL stuff on sites like 1fichier, depositfiles, or Mega (or other similar sites). I would not download from streaming sites like Pornhub, it's usually shit, even in 1080p.

I need to find better quality non-vr porn, I'm guilty of ripping stuff from Pornhub because while it's easy to get what currently counts as high quality VR porn (because for the most part it's all still coming directly from the studios, or with minimal re-encoding from places like SLR) I find it difficult/time consuming trying to hunt down DST's in the wild without an easily digestable tube feed to tell me what I should look at. Haha

definitely better to use torrents for porn. many studios since ~2017 release 4k versions of their scenes. idk about pornbay but empornium has great tagging on vids so it's easy to download a bunch of scenes from an actress.

the difference in model training is astounding when you have all high quality pics in your faceset
