That’s a PITA. I’m sure it’ll be hosted elsewhere, but hopefully it’ll stay working for the meantime if it’s not getting updated.

There are hundreds of yotube downloader or even converters out there. I doubt its nothing else than publicity stunt

I don't see the point of using (specific site downloader) when Jdownloader2 exists. It works on more or less every site, very user friendly. And from youtube specifically you can get thumbnail, subtitles, audio only, whatever you want really. This one was even a command-line tool! I guess most people just haven't heard of JD2.
