Off Topic IG subscriptions will it last?

I recently purchased a handful of Instagram subscriptions this week. So far only ONE girl has been active. The subscriptions range from 12 - 6 bucks so I'm NOT expecting gold, but still . . . at least something. This IG subscription thing seems like a waste of time and money. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
