Off Topic Tincat browser (android)

Is anyone using the tincat browser on Android for downloading tiktok streams ? I've noticed in the last couple of months that a lot of the US streams don't generate an m3u8 link anymore you can only grab the flv link of the stream. Anyone know why US streams don't generate that m3u8 link to the stream anymore ?
